Warranty policy

General information

The Imperivm warranty extends only to defects that can be allocated to a production or material defect. Damages or defects caused by transport, handling, improper mounting or re-mounting, storage, misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, collisions, wear and tear, lack of maintenance, modification or repair of the product will not be warranted. Imperivm Snowboards are manufactured and designed using the most advanced materials and production techniques. A 2 years limited warranty is provided, kicking in on the original date of purchase at an authorized Imperivm Snowboards dealer and valid for the original purchaser only.

Regarding boards, the following manufacturing errors usually qualify for warranty: Board delamination, defectuous inserts, crackled or bubbled topsheet with intact core, clear topsheet decoloration, split edges from sidewalls with no traces of impact.

Damage on edges and base due to impact, a total loss board and damage to the base resulting from the use of too long screws or without ring are usually rejected and will not qualify for the warranty procedure. Furthermore damage caused by non-Imperivm products to Imperivm products are not covered nor are any caused by use of solvents, adhesives, or other inappropriate products.

Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty only.

Repaired items will be subject to the availability parts. There is no guarantee that you will get your exact same product back.

All coverage under this warranty is void if any modification, change or alteration has been made to the product that is not specifically authorized in writing by Imperivm.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt from an Authorized Imperivm Dealer. Invoice or charge receipt must clearly identify the dealer.

How to proceed

In case you have a problem with your board or other Imperivm product (be it boards, bindings or goggles) you should get back to your Imperivm dealer with the original proof of purchase and product defect details. They can verify if your case qualifies for a warranty issue and will get in touch with us if so, or if there’s any doubt.

The dealer will take pictures, send them to us and send the board back for us to inspect if there’s doubt regarding the validity of the warranty claim. We will then make the final decision and repair or replace the board free of charge if the warranty requirements are met. The replacement or repair will go through your Imperivm dealer as well. We will either send you back your repaired board or send you a new one if there are none available at the dealer. This is always subject to gear availability.

If you bought your gear through the Imperivm Webshop, you can choose whether to bring the defective product to a reseller or to get in touch with us directly. In the latter case, you should provide clear pictures of the problem with and a detailed description of your case. If your case qualifies for warranty, you can ship the item back to us at your own cost and we will replace it after further inspection. The returning freight costs to you will be covered by Imperivm.
