Imperivm riders starring in Flanders Freestyle Cup

On Saturday the Belgian snowboarding scene gathered in the Peer indoor slope for the first round of the Flanders Freestyle Cup, just second in importance and prestige to the Belgian Open held in spring in Les 2 Alpes. After four stops, a winner is crowned in the following categories: Ladies, Youth, Junior and Senior. For the first time in years Seppe Smits was on home soil and rode away with the gold in the Senior category, Sebbe de Buck doing the same in the Junior age bracket. Congratulations to our rider Simon Van Haeken who just missed out on the finals in a category where he was one of the youngest contenders. Stylish spinning for sure! In the youth category the top spot went to Flor De Laet, and the podium was rounded off by our own team ripper Jens Rummens, showing very clean 360’s on the icy kickers. So, with three stops to go, anything can happen, and everyone is still in for the prizes at this point. Rematch on the 26th of November in Ice Mountain Komen.
